Refund Policy

At Sunkist Acres, we take pride in carefully growing, inspecting, and packaging every product we offer. Due to the nature of live plant material and seasonal products, all sales are final.

Dahlia Tubers
All dahlia tuber sales are non refundable and non returnable. Each tuber is inspected prior to shipping to ensure it is healthy and viable at the time it leaves our farm. Once tubers are shipped or picked up, responsibility transfers to the customer.

Growing success cannot be guaranteed, as results depend on factors outside of our control including weather, soil conditions, storage practices, planting techniques, pests, and general care.

If your tubers arrive damaged during transit, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the packaging and tubers. We will review each situation individually and determine an appropriate resolution if necessary.

Fresh Flower Subscriptions and Event Florals
Flower subscriptions and event floral payments are non refundable once reserved, as we grow and allocate flowers specifically for each order. In the rare event of severe crop failure or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, Sunkist Acres reserves the right to offer a credit, substitution, or rescheduled delivery.

Custom event floral deposits are non refundable once your date is secured.

Shipping Policy

Dahlia Tuber Shipping

We ship dahlia tubers within the United States only.

Tubers are shipped beginning in mid to late April through May once the risk of freezing temperatures during transit has passed. Shipping timing may vary based on weather conditions both in Michigan and at the destination location. Our goal is to ensure your tubers arrive safely and in optimal condition.

Orders are shipped via USPS. Once your order has been handed off to the carrier, Sunkist Acres is not responsible for shipping delays, lost packages, or damage caused during transit. Tracking information will be provided when available.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the shipping address provided is accurate. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses entered at checkout.

Fresh Flower Subscriptions

Fresh flower subscriptions are available for farm pickup or local delivery only. We do not ship fresh flowers at this time.

Local Delivery

Local delivery areas and timing will be communicated prior to the start of the subscription season. Customers will receive an email with delivery details as bloom timing approaches.

Weather and Crop Disclaimer

All shipping and delivery timelines are subject to seasonal conditions. As a working farm, bloom times and harvest windows may shift slightly due to weather. We appreciate your understanding as we work in rhythm with the season.
